This project is one of 36 community based Rural Transport Programme projects funded by the Department of Transport Tourism and Sport under the National Development Plan and administered by Pobal.

How does CART provide these services?

CART uses private operators to provide services which are contracted using guildelines as laid down by our funders. Routes are designed around the needs of the passengers. These services travel along specified routes with deviations from these routes to collect passengers at their home. Free travel passes are accepted on all CART services.
